What You'll Need in Place

So you know exactly what to have ready before your sensors arrive.

📶

WiFi with an internet connection

A 2.4GHz WiFi network with internet access at each site — sensors can't connect to a 5GHz-only network. This can be your existing broadband router, or a simple SIM-only mobile WiFi router if you don't have fixed broadband on site.

🔌

USB power for each sensor

Standard USB-C, 5V — a plug socket for permanent installation. A power bank works too, but only for short-term or temporary setups, not as a permanent power source.

📲

A phone, tablet, or computer

Needed briefly to complete the one-time setup for each sensor — see the Sensor & WiFi Setup Guide on our Downloads page.
